Bottom Line: Some awesome person took their sweet ass time to make a little something for their followers to enjoy and you going and saving that thing that they made and reposting it and claming it as your own is fucking bullshit. Complete and utter bullshit. One click. Once click is all it takes for you to have that thing on your blog. It’s called the reblog button. I know a lot of you people like claiming stuff as your own, for fucks sake just reblog. It literally will take you 2 damn seconds.

I can understand a tumblr user finding an image/graphic/gif (or whatever) on another site that was originally posted on someone’s tumblr. (I like to think this happens more often than people purposely reposting. But I don’t know, people can be assholes.)

But in any case, if there is a source or the graphic itself is tagged by the creator (like above), try just going to the person’s tumblr and asking. I’m sure they’ll be willing to help you find the original post (I know I would), or possibly giving you the go-ahead to upload on your own blog.

Either way, you’re doing yourself a disservice by reposting rather than reblogging. Graphic makers like myself will only get more irritated by the behavior and possibly reduce the number of their creations.

And then what will you have to repost?
